Apprenticeship Program

An immersive and educational 12 week program aimed at providing you with real world experience and skills by working with a photo and video production agency.

About the Program

We Are Visual Arcade – a rapidly growing creative content production agency looking for a video or photography apprentice for our 12 week apprenticeship program! During the 12 week program, you’ll learn what it’s like to work with clients from an agency perspective, and you’ll gain valuable skills not taught by typical programs!

Besides the fact that we have a pretty awesome team, a bunch of wicked rad clients, and our projects range from global product launches for Fortune 500 Companies, to working with other agencies.

There is an option to hire at the end of our program. Compensation consists of a stipend, travel, food, and entertainment costs, because we like to go see a lot of movies. Visual Arcade is a BYOD (bring your own device) environment, so a computer is required. If needed, we will provide accessories such as hard drives, ram, external monitors, etc.

Requirements

Film Apprentices: Premiere Pro, Illustrator, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
Photography Apprentices: Photoshop CS, Lightroom, and your own DSLR camera.

Other Capabilities

Design, Storyboarding, Animation, Filming, Editing, Color Grading, and some Audio Design experience would be wicked rad. Lastly, some of the most important requirements are that you must be willing to work in a team oriented environment that is fun, and with people you actually enjoy being around, enjoy boardgames, and not afraid to have a beer while you work.

Oh! No resumes, PLEASE! We’ll just print them out and use them as paper for storyboarding. Instead, applicants must be able to furnish several portfolio pieces that can showcase their photography, video production, or motion graphics work.
